For the Diagnostics IT Team we are looking for a Delivery Manager/Business Area Lead:

• Do you want to be in charge of a strategy for delivering software solutions for Diagnostics IT in an assigned portfolio?

• Do you want to take ownership for engineering deliverables for multiple enterprise-scale software development products/projects from concept, buy-in gathering to implementation?

• Do you want to become an entrepreneur, build new IT services and drive the change, that will help us to deliver new business capabilities in the future?

You are an ideal candidate if:

• You are a seasoned IT delivery manager, customer/account manager or have experience in similar customer-centric and delivery roles

• You understand modern software development offering, design principles and agile development process and have managed multiple complex projects

• You have a technical/scientific background, education or domain experience (not a “must-have” but will be a substantial advantage)

• You are an exceptional communicator with a strong consultancy and customer-centric mindset

• You have 8 -10+ years of experience and speak fluent English

• You are willing to travel up to 20% locally and internationally

Let’s find out what a usual day of work might look like. You will be doing:

• Business Development and Consultancy: within assigned area you will play a crucial part in identifying and pursuing areas of growth and improvements for Roche Diagnostics IT in a range of services and products range. In this capacity you will take part in strategy setting and execution for the assigned portfolio.

• Delivery Management: You will be responsible for the technical delivery of a software release. You will be the go-to-person for the Business Partners on behalf of the local engineering team, own technical deliverables, publish delivery and operational metrics, and ensure engineering delivery and releases are on track.

• Team Leadership: You will provide direction and leadership to a group of individuals (the team), fostering creativity, removing impediments, helping to achieve goals. Also, you will take ownership for creating the Customer-centric mindset.

• General Technical Management: within engineering projects and as needed, you will take on continuous improvement initiatives, resource management, provide inputs to engineering and product management leaders.

• Engineering Operations support: enable and drive resolution of production incidents as needed.

• Organizations Development: you will be a key contributor in shaping our team and organization, bringing your experience and insights to improve ways we work.
