We are looking for a Senior Financial Controller to recently established Cost Control team, so we could still pushing the boundaries and support Nordea Group with sufficient and high-quality cost controlling in a timely manner.

About this opportunity
You'll join the Cost Control Team , where we are responsible for doing monthly cost controlling for the entire bank. We add value by being responsible for ensuring correct controlling of activities and the adequate and professional controlling of costs in both the legal and management reporting dimensions, in compliance with Nordea's financial control principles and external accounting rules (IFRS). We are responsible for doing monthly cost controlling for the entire bank. In addition to this, we provide cross Nordea cost analysis, support the FM teams with deep dives, drive the restructuring process, reconciliation of incidents, VSP calculations, and coordination of the CPR processes, all of which drive Nordea towards a harmonised and common approach.
What you will be doing:
- Financial and Business Controlling
- Ensure correct follow-up of cost and FTEs across all BAs
- Analyse and validate that financial statements are correct and represent what has happened
- Conducting cost analysis including deep dives in to the cost development
- Providing commentary of the monthly development in cost figures and FTES
- Support in improving our cost reporting and related processes

Your experience and background:
- At least 2 years of experience in similar position
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Solid hands-one MS Excel experience ( SAP BW, Smart View will be a strong advantage)
- Independent/Self driven
- Excellent team player
- Excellent English, spoken and written
- University degree in finance
