Supply Chain Process Lead
Work location: Shell Energy Campus, Czerwone Maki 85

Job description:

Purpose & Accountabilities:

The Supply Chain HM Process Lead provides expertise of process, subject to the legal, fiscal and trade compliant business models, ensures all implementation are in line with international standards, legislation and policies within Downstream and maps out supply chain processes end to end. This role is key in ensuring that the projected benefits of Streamline processes and SAP systems are realized and harvested.

  • Ensures MRD data set up is according the best practice standards, meeting legal and fiscal requirements.

  • Responsible for contracts set up in GSAP

  • Keeps track of any new supply initiatives and advises around fiscal, enterprise and legal limitations / considerations.

  • Implements/ensures implementation of the agreed supply chain(s) in the relevant system(s) and ensures the output is controlled, (invoice, HM Fiscal codes, etc).

  • When a new supply chain and/or new product is proposed, seeks legal and fiscal sign of from the legal, products and fiscal advisors in DS regarding the proposed SC.

  • Request set up of new products, supply points, or delivery locations.

  • Seeks confirmation by the product stewardship teams for new product and product group allocation (Fiscal optimums).

  • Manages and resolves complex end-to-end issues and drives improvements for process excellence.

  • Builds process competence.

  • Creates and/or supports creation of change requests, identifying gaps and/or improvement opportunities to how a process is enabled by the IT solutions.

  • Coordinates between Specialties and Bitumen trading desk aligning deal structures.

  • Provides steer / support to the MRD specialist for Implementation in GSAP.

  • Provides Global Process support / expertise to global process design teams.

  • Keeps record of all supply chains and agreed set up in a shared database.

  • Keeps records of all agreed contract changes, implementations and renewals.

  • Acts as Trade Controls focal point within the EU Supply team.

  • Is the SAP super user.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Excellent analytical Skills, accurate and capacity to learn quickly.

  • Indirect/direct tax knowledge,

  • Incoterms expertise,

  • SAP knowledge, are a pre-requisite

  • Expertise in supply chain operation & management as well as working in GSAP environment are a prerequisite.

  • Stakeholder management

  • Ability to develop and maintain good relationship with main stakeholders and work in a virtual and multicultural environment

Additional Information:
To support the many new activities currently ongoing in the region. Work separated from peers and manager, so must be able to perform with minimal supervision and limited peer support.
High number of interfacing activity, where business objectives do not necessary meet the corporate process time lines.
