Risk Operations Analyst
- Ensure established credit processes are followed; including marking of facilities as available based on credit documentation requirements, follow-ups on exceptions, collateral management and registration in credit systems
- Activation and maintenance of locally approved credit obligors in the credit system
- Preparation of credit approvals (CA).
- Maintenance of approved credit facilities in the credit system (facility creation, allocations / re-allocations, facility amendment, classification, special handling instructions)
- Ensure that the credit approvals are obtained in the credit policy and internal procedures
- Monitoring, completion of fully approved workflows
- Updating of databases, credit systems and other applications with transactional and security data necessary to maintain correct and consistent data in systems for measuring, monitoring, reporting and credit risk management.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in the processing of credit systems.
- Participation in projects in the area of gaining efficiency gains
The person should be:
- Enthusiastic, whilst being able to use initiative when faced with and issue and be willing to approach different people until they get the right answer
- Strong control and risk awareness background critical
- Ability to work under pressure essential
- A flexible and hard-working approach is required as is the need to be self-motivated and driven
- A good team member who proactively builds positive working relationship
- Ability to recognize high risk situations
Knowledge/Experience:
- Higher education or during studies
- Good knowledge of English (spoken and written)
- A minimum 3 years of banking/financing experience
- Well-established knowledge of credit products
- Very good knowledge of the Credit Policy, Credit Procedures and procedures in force at the Bank
- Experience in conducting negotiations
- Good presentations skills
