Job description:
As a scheduler you will be responsible for:

Creating schedules for truck deliveries in order to ensure timely and cost effective product delivery to petrol stations and B2B customers through the Order to Delivery process.

Creating and optimizing an accurate, cost effective and timely delivery plan based on customer stock data to ensure that the right product and volume is delivered from the right source to the right destination at the right time by the right truck.

Ensuring scheduled deliveries are in line with safety and operational procedures and customers.

Working with analysts (where relevant) and other schedulers to balance order demand against truck supply.Ordering relevant quantity of trucks vs. expected volume to ensure maximum fleet utilization.

Ensuring correct set up of scheduling system which includes: trucks, products availability at the depots, product limits at the depots, customers' placed orders.

Close cooperation with Supply, Road Transport and Retail Departments to ensure smooth process flow and solving daily operational issues.

Contributing to the minimisation of stock-outs, Left on Boards and excessive multi-dropping.
Schedulers are shifted working during Monday - Saturday (am 07:30 - 16:00/pm 13:30 - 22:00, Saturday am only) working across an early or late shift. For work on Saturday, compensation day is given during the week. For work on the PM shift, schedulers are paid with shift allowance.
Requirements:

Ideally you have very good analytical skills to schedule accurate delivery plan

You’ll need English on B2/C1 level

A proven ability to work in Microsoft Office and software usage
