Key activities
• Responsible for crafting winning, deliverable solutions. Accountable to ensure that solutions offer a winning business value proposition — owns and approves IT product designs. Need to understand current operational frameworks and how their solutions will be managed through and after the implementation.
• Ensure that POS/BOSS Team works according to best Agile and Lean practices, continuously strives for improvement and is empowered to self-organize for daily tasks
• Identify opportunities for the appropriate and cost-effective investment in systems, solutions and resources, including staffing, sourcing, purchasing, and in-house development.
• Manage financial aspects of the team, including purchasing, budgeting in cooperation with Product Owners
• Ensure that POS/BOSS production systems are supported and maintained according to industry standards for quality system provision, and that requests for amendments and enhancements are properly authorized, change managed, and implemented in accordance with installation, release, and change control standards.
• Vendor Management for POS/BOSS resources as needed
• Key Technology Partner to Product Owners of POS and BOSS applications Europe and Russia markets
• Thrives on increasing customer satisfaction level and experience for solutions
• Directs lean/agile activities and provides Servant Leadership in order to allow product team a continuous improvement in area of efficiency and effectiveness
• Sets and delivers against stretch goals
• Accountable and managing budget in assigned areas through tracking on CAPEX and OPEX.

• Owns Product Owners relationship and delivery quality
• Responsible for leading team and ensuring continued team development

Profile we look for
• 10+ years’ experience in IT, E-Commerce Solution Design, development and support
• University level degree qualification, preferably in Information Technology/Computer Science or an equivalent of addition 5 years of working experience in a related area
• Extensive knowledge and hands on experience in software development, release and support space
• Experience in 12 factor web app, microservices and complex systems architecture design
• Good understanding of modern technologies in area of: FrontEnd Development (JavaScript, AngularJS or ReactJS), API, microservices and cloud (AWS preferred) solutions
• Excellent communication skills, able to build and maintain relationships with Amway team and vendors
• Responsible for leading team and ensuring continued team development
• Excellent English skills in speaking and writing, additional European language is advantage
• Experience in working with AGILE and SCRUM
• Experience in working in an international environment and cross functional projects
• Knowledge of MLM business processes preferred
• AngularJS or ReactJS previous coding experience
