Analyst - Credit Assessment with Czech
Work location: Shell Energy Campus, Czerwone Maki 85

Job description:

As an Analyst - Credit Assessment you will be responsible for the risk assessment of customers and analysis of the overall credit exposure. Provide assessment of customers credit risk and the recommends terms of credit that are consistent with the Global Credit Policy. You will also deliver credit evaluation and be responsible for providing authorised approval for release of credit blocked orders and taking credit decisions.


Among your main responsibilities will be:

  • Timely and accurate processing – take ownership and initiative until transaction is successfully and accurately processed
  • E-mailing/mailing out billing invoices
  • Reconciling and balancing monthly Group transactions
  • Preparing monthly account analysis for each Customer’s Account
  • Work with various Shell partners to identify and develop necessary procedures that will enable the timely recording and balancing of transactions
  • Process entries needed for the current month
  • Match cash against open invoices
  • Understand & account for withholding tax, VAT and CIT
  • Support SOX documentation maintenance
  • Collate and input data with high level of accuracy and in accordance with Service Level Agreements
  • Answer stakeholders requests for information
  • Input information into systems, maintain and update account records
  • Communicate with internal and external customer in an effective and efficient manner

Requirements:

  • You’ll ideally have experience in accounting environment, with experience is several accounting processes

  • Obtained economic, accounting or finance university degree/qualifications

  • You will need good working knowledge of Word, Microsoft Outlook

  • Very good knowledge of Excel

  • Czech or Slovak min. C1 and very good English (written and oral)

  • Good knowledge of accounting controls

  • Desired knowledge of accounting systems and/or SAP

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Fast and accurate data input skills

  • Proven ability to work autonomously while keeping other team members informed as appropriate

  • Ability to work under pressure and time constraints
