Treasury and Trade Services Client Operations retain ownership and the entrepreneurial risk associated with functions migrated to India, and so a robust governance model is fundamental to ensuring risk mitigation.The roles will require the successful candidate to form effective working relationships with off-shored site management , implementation of consistent governance and controls, in line with Citi policies. Responsible for management of processes, including, but not limited to: Process Management, Crisis Management, Approvals/Decisions, People Management, Regulatory Reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure relevant process documentation is in place, up to date, and periodically reviewed
• Oversee and engage in documentation flows and handling
• Maintain and own initiative tracker – driving forward change initiatives to improve process effectiveness
• Support industry initiatives
• Provide thought leadership to offshored teams
• Support and understand technology enhancements, working in conjunction with Infrastructure team
• Engage in Product reviews and provide support to Product team and coverage partners
• Actively engage in new business implementations, complex deal reviews, owning inputs from Client Operations
• Further develop and enhance monitoring and control processes to mitigate risk.
• Solicit support of key technology partners, product partners, vendors to best deliver process
• Crisis management: prioritization of escalations and engagements of all relevant parties to resolve issues in a timely manner to ensure minimization of impact
• Remote Management Responsibilities
• Records Management, Account Ownership & Attestation & entitlement reviews
• Fraud Review and analysis
• Involvement in Business Documentation reviews and sign off
• Full oversight and monitoring of any accounts that require balancing or reconciling
• Review of all MIS provided by India Team, analyse and make any recommendations

Experience and Skills:

• Clearing/Cheques Products knowledge from operational perspective
• Ability to implement, drive & comply with all required controls, governance & policies
• Proven ability to execute tasks to a high level of quality in a timely manner
• Proven ability to understand new technical and Product solutions in a short time frame
• Management of remote teams/3rd parties will be an advantage
• Experience at working in a team
• Ability to map and re-engineer processes
• Ability to quickly develop knowledge of new areas and develop Cash product knowledge
• Demonstrable ability to interact with Senior management, Product stakeholders and external bodies
