Projects and Solutions Delivery Lead

Job description:

The Projects and Solutions Delivery Lead will support the Contracting & Procurement Downstream (incl. Operations) in contributing to the achievement of the expected level of strategic performance against the CP DS ambitions.

The candidate will provide expertise in various BAU- & project-related planning and process performance activities, like performance/cost/budgeting reporting and its optimization, process management (e.g. via metrics) and its optimization (incl. digitalization), risk management, identification & implementation of improvements, programs & project management, change management, system savviness, engagement/communication expertise.

It’s also expected that above expertise will be underpinned by excellent leadership skills and CI mindset.

Principal Accountabilities:
Planning & Reporting:

  • Actively support planning activities within CP Operations Downstream (including process of target setting, FTE planning, budgeting, forecasting etc.) ensuring alignment with the guidelines and timelines, incorporating appropriate analysis and challenge, with clearly defined accountability for delivery of these plans
  • Together with CP Operations DS Planning & Performance Analyst, work very closely with CP Operations DS Delivery Teams, but also with CP DS Commercial Delivery Leads on all topics related to periodical performance measurement & reporting and ensure Management Information data integrity, quality and timeliness of associated reports
  • Optimize CP Ops DS Planning & Reporting landscape to have it world-class using best available at Shell technology enablers and benchmarking it to external views


Improvement and comms agenda:

  • Actively contribute to CP DS (incl. Ops) data-driven (e.g. using various metrics) improvements opportunities identification, building use/business cases and monitoring of improvements implementation (being in CP Ops DS 2020 agenda)
  • Lead selected projects/programs
  • Contribute to E2E process/system standardization and step outs elimination
  • Continuously explore system opportunities (SAP/Ariba/IM/MI systems) and contribute to CP Downstream End User Experience enhancement


Data improvement and automation agenda:

  • Actively contribute to CP Data strategy implementation & its operationalization (data road map delivery) and to automation/digitalization agenda

Requirements:

  • University degree or equivalent required (preferably in the area of Finance, Procurement)

  • Strong over 10 yrs of professional experience

  • Experience in process designing and its optimization (via standardization, automation, identification & implementation of small/medium/high improvement opportunities resulting from various metrics etc.)

  • Programs & projects management expertise

  • Change/transformation management and implementing solutions in large organizations (on various maturity levels, with global spread etc.)

  • System savviness (esp. SAP, Ariba, but also Power BI, SharePoint etc.) & natural willingness & talent to learn systems

  • Strong leadership & coaching skills

  • Continous Improvement mindset

  • Engagement-communication & stakeholder management skills (esp. in collaboration with senior stakeholders)

  • Great presentation & VM skills

  • Strategic management skills to contribute to multi-years org strategies building and goals/plans linking to those strategies

  • Experience of working in global and virtual roles requiring influencing skills
