Senior Business Analyst, EMEA Packaging
Location - Kraków
Why is this job for you:
You will report to EMEA Packaging Business Analysis Manager and become a member of EMEA Packaging Business Analysis team which provides finance and analytical support to the Sr. Manager Business Analysis & Financial Reporting, the Finance Director and the Vice President of the Division. You will play a key role in performing economic and business analysis for regular operations as well as business related projects and divisional/corporate activities. You will have an opportunity to develop new analytical tools and to drive division-wide process improvements. You will work closely with the Financial Planning and Analysis Team as well as with the finance groups in the regions, including travels and face-to-face meetings, in order to provide best value support to EMEA Packaging leaders.
You will:
- Assist in assessing business analysis and reporting needs of the EMEA Packaging division
- Provide technical support in development of new analysis tools and reports
- Draft new process descriptions and help transfer new activities to different teams and regions for ongoing preparation and maintenance
- Support business projects planning and execution with relevant data collection and manipulation
- Prepare ad-hoc corporate, divisional and business related reports combining data from central and regional sources
- Monitor business performance and relevant market intelligence metrics
- Collect information and update monthly transfer pricing spreadsheets
- Support financial planning processes by verifying and analyzing the regional input and consolidated numbers
- Continuously look for opportunities of improvement in business data analytics for EMEA Packaging
You have:
- MA/BA in Economics, Finance, or related fields
- 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Corporate Finance etc.
- Proficient knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to quickly learn other software (knowledge of VBA and/or Power BI as an advantage)
- Fluency in English (knowledge of French/Italian/Spanish would be beneficial)
- Critical thinking and strong analytical skills
- Good understanding of finance and accounting principles
- Experience in working with SAP and preferably with SAP BPC
- Availability to travel up to 30% of time
