Power BI Data Analyst

Who are we looking for?

  • Hands-on experience in reports & analytics and data integration area
  • At least 1+ year experience on Microsoft Power BI, knowledge of other BI tools like Qlik Sense, Tableau would be a strong asset
  • Demonstrable experience with DAX language, Data Flows, Power Pivot, Power Query
  • Beneficial to have knowledge and experience of Ms Power Apps and Flow, MS SQL, Azure, understanding basic database concept
  • Detail-oriented expert with a strong analytical skills
  • Ability to recognize and interpret business requirement and turn this need into technical solution
  • A self-starter and eager to learn new tools and technologies where needed to suit client or project requirements
  • Fluent English and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical details to business and working in close alignment with various stakeholders
  • Work independently and also as part of a team to design and develop solutions
  • Demonstrating good organizational skills, work to tight deadlines in in fast paced environment

What will you do?

  • Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications & visualisations,
  • Building reports and dashboards including use of relevant BI tools (Power BI),
  • Designing conceptual and logical data models creation and ownership of effective Power BI Data modelling in line with best practices,
  • Supporting business initiatives by identifying necessary data sources, metrics and analytical methods needed to formulate queries and performing data analysis for ongoing and future projects,
  • Develop, enhance and maintain high performing solutions and complex calculations, perform data and operational analysis,
  • Streamline data collection process, reduce manual intervention and leverage technology,
  • Proactively identifying and develop solutions, create a sustainable suite of automated reports, and where needed maintain and support data analytics platforms
