The overall objective of this role is to design and develop high performance, scalable and resilient system that would be used by internal and external users within Funds & Custody Services Technology. This is a multi-year transformation program that aims to build a new operating platform which would provide process transparency and exceptions management capability to the Citi operations and customers alike. Successful candidate will be part of the global team of approx. 20 members and work closely with business partners to translate business requirements into a featured application. Some key features of this new platform are that is highly transparent, available to internal and external population, and deals with high data volumes

Technologies:

We intend to leverage modern cutting edge technologies to build this platform. The core application will be built using Java Springboot as the Middle Tier and APIs, Kafka as the integration layer and React.js as the User Interface. Elastic search, predictive analytics and natural language processing will be added to the features as the development progresses.

Qualifications:

We expect the incoming candidate to be an expert in Java Springboot with working knowledge of React.js and Kafka. Experience with database technologies – MongoDB and Oracle will be helpful. A positive can-do attitude and strong team working ethics is a must for this role.
