Finance Planning and Analysis Expert
Work place: Warszawa
Responsibilities:
- Consolidating of financial results for total Consumer Sector in USGAAP and IFRS, incl. variance analysis in various cuts and providing explanations / root causes
- Coordinating all forecasting processes with regional partners for Poland Consumer form the system / tools / timeline point of view
- Working with financial systems supporting daily operations of the Financial Planning and Analysis, incl. product set-ups in the system, system input/output, interpretation of received data
- Leading regulatory scenario planning processes in all aspects incl. analyses of the results, input/output, assessment of forecasting approaches / models
- Creating, maintaining and improving reporting and forecasting tools to increase effectiveness of the team
- Performing control activities for the team
Expectations:
- Master Degree in Finance or Statistics
- 3+ years’ experience in banking / analytical position
- Highly numerate and accurate with investigative and analytical skills
- Highly advanced with practical aspects of MS Excel/MS Access use in processing and creating data
- Basic understanding of finance & accounting
- English and Polish – fluent (with emphasis on business and finance)
- Effective in working with large data bases, including data integrating, visualizing and drawing conclusions
- Creative in conceptualizing possible solutions into tool/model/equations to address a business question/problem
- Ability to co-ordinate, plan and organize to deliver within tight deadlines
- Good interpersonal skills & communication on a senior management level
- Quick learner, self-driven and team player
