Junior Specialist in Affirmation Confirmation Team [online recruitment]

The Warsaw office was established in 2008 and comprises two business lines:
International Operations Centre (IOC) providing asset and fund services for a number of locations across Europe.
Custody & clearing services offering broker-dealers, global custodians and investment banks a full clearing, settlement and custody solution in Poland and other markets.
Responsibilities:
- Matching of client trades with counterparty alleges in T0 as per the regulatory guidelines and as per the client SLA.
- Monitoring of the outstanding trades task stations to ensure all the necessary actions are taken in order to match the trades.
- Reporting of all the pending trades to respective clients with the detailed analysis of actions taken.
- Manage exceptions on the affirmation/confirmation process on trade matching platforms.
- Prioritize tasks based on trade sensitivity
- Ad-hoc derivatives tasks part of our global follow the sun coverage.
- Interface with global teams, brokers and clients on confirmation issues.
- Respond to all queries within current business day.
- Updating KPI files with in specified deadlines.
Requirements:
- University degree (preferred: Finance, Economics, etc.)
- Very good command of English
- Preferably around 1 year of experience in financial services.
- Derivatives (OTC and listed) knowledge will be a strong asset
- Attention to details and accuracy
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
- Ability to work effectively as a team player
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Good communication skills, ability to interact efficiently with clients and effectively manage expectations
- Strong reactivity to meet short deadlines
- Self-motivation and willingness to learn
