Your role
Do you have proven track record of working on Unix systems, building and deploying Java applications, improving CI and CD pipelines? Can you quickly get up to speed with existing and new applications? Do you have a passion for high quality?
We’re looking for a DevOps engineer to:
• support development teams in migration of applications to new platforms and to cloud
• improve CI/CD pipelines
• troubleshoot and debug infrastructure, network and operating system issues
Your team
You’ll join an existing scrum team, located in Krakow – Green Office. We develop and maintain a group of applications which allows UBS traders, all over the world, to create and trade equity derivatives. As a DevOps engineer, you'll play an important role in delivering best quality software to our users.
Your expertise
• knowledge of Linux/Unix
• decent Java programming skills: core java, Spring, SpringBoot
• experience with Java build tools: Ant, Maven
• experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Nice to have:
• experience in migrating existing apps to Docker
• TeamCity administration
• experience with Python
• experience with Elastic Search
