You will be part of our Finance Shared Services team. The Finance Shared Services team provides financial services to colleagues in the EMEA region. This role is key to ensuring a high level of service delivery while providing the day to day management, coordination, people development, as well leading strategic priority projects to continue building state-of-the-art nearshoring operations with cutting edge technological and methodological capabilities.

Tasks:

• You will lead and manage a team of professionals involved in all the functions that come under McKinsey European Shared Services Center - Finance.
• In this role you will manage recruiting, onboarding and staffing for your team. You will perform evaluations and provide regular feedback, as well as coach, develop and mentor team members.
• You will be encouraged to expand the service offerings as and when an opportunity arises. You will be required to develop, implement, and monitor quality standards to improve the operating quality and efficiency of the team.
• You will plan and develop systems and procedures to improve the operating quality and efficiency of the department. You will ensure that operation performance metrics are reviewed continuously, and service issues are addressed regularly.
• You will review accounting practices for process improvement, deploy new processes and ensure documentation. It will be important for you to cultivate relationships with internal customers in order to discuss ongoing business needs and identify business opportunities.
• You will also take on additional finance and accounting related responsibilities on an as needed basis. You will ensure the team is properly cross-trained and the operating model creates flexible modes of responding to surges in demand, projects and strategic initiatives.
