Job description:
You will be developing and leading the digital communications strategy working with the various Strategic Partnership managers delivering strong digital communications plans. You will work with some of the most value brands in the world (e.g. Ferrari) to develop story telling opportunities. You will work with the PR, Media and digital agencies delivering our plans.
Accountabilities:

Develop digital communications strategy that is based on data driven insights

Identify opportunities to integrate with other functions to drive insights and value (e.g. loyalty)

Work with PR, Media and digital communications agency to deliver content plan and assets
-
Build an active and engaged Shell Motorsports community that is passionate about Shell’s heritage in Motorsports, its diverse partnerships portfolio, and commitment to the energy transition

Keep our audiences informed on the day to day news from our partners

Onboard and oversee delivery via social media agency

Deliver a balanced content strategy that reflects Shell’s diverse partnerships portfolio:

Encourage cross-partnership activations and Leverage partnership comms assets

Deliver additional content assets at key races / Shell moments outside motorsports
-
Support brands and products with global and local campaign requests
-
Advise agencies and production companies how best to showcase the partnerships
-
Ensure distribution of partnerships content in a timely and effective way either organically or via paid media.

Coordinate asset production and further requirements from the hero content
-
Utilize Shell Marketing Network to amplify content distribution locally
-
Leverage partner channels (incl. Drivers) to expand reach.

Connect with ER/PR to maximize value via earned reach.

Improve customer journey thanks to additional tactics such as geofencing re-targeting

Contribute to business growth through lead generation and content/posts that link back to Shell products.
Requirements:
-
Strong experience with the development of social media strategies and articulation of those strategies with the wider marketing and communication objectives.

Experience with digital analytics, with a demonstrated ability to package up complex data into actionable insights - the ability to tell the story behind the data.

Experience in defining Social Media KPIs relevant to communication objectives and business outcomes.

Understanding of advanced reporting tools: attribution, verification, frequency, etc.

Experience with all types of digital media (mobile, display, search, video, apps).

Experience with real time monitoring of global digital/social media campaigns.

Ability to effectively operate within a fast-paced, constantly evolving, team environment.

A global citizen, with knowledge and experience of multiple markets, social media landscape and agile and nimble on the way to interact with markets.

Possess a strong track record of managing multiple complex projects involving cross-functional teams, external relationships (clients, vendors).

Ability to effectively influence and communicate with all levels of management.

Excellent oral, written communication skills and attention to detail.

Must be customer focused with demonstrated experience providing insight on customer behaviour.

Degree or equivalent, in Marketing or a relevant discipline.
