We are thrilled to announce that we are expanding our Compliance Hub at Citi Solutions Center in Warsaw! As a result, we are looking for a tech-savvy Senior Data Analyst to join Compliance Assurance area within ICRM function. Independent Compliance Risk Management (ICRM) is responsible for establishing internal strategies, policies and procedures to prevent violations of law or regulation, and design a risk management framework that maintains risk levels within Citi and protects the franchise.

Job purpose:

As the member of newly established Automation Team, the Senior Analyst will work in an international environment with data from analytical, visual and statistical perspective. This is also the opportunity to improve technical skills by working in Big Data environment. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for identifying key risks, controls and corrective action plans related to the regulatory projects as well as automate and innovate processes existing in Compliance Assurance.

Key responsibilities:

• Build and apply new automation solutions for CA processes using big data methods. Design technical solutions supporting complex data reporting and analytical tasks.

• Use visualisation techniques to display data and the results of analysis in clear form that can be understood by non-technical readers.

• Conduct reviews that validates the completion of the project (including data processing, statistical and non-statistical data exploration, etc.).

• Provide technical support to the team by implementing automation tools and integrating MS Office Excel, Oracle Database and SAS platforms. Detect data anomalies and identify source of data problems. Recommend data quality solutions.

• Assisting in planning, management, and liaising with the project owners, Businesses, internal Audit and Compliance Testing team.

• Travel: up to 10 % of the time (currently not applicable)

Key skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in banking, economics or technical fields

• 2+ years of experience in data mining and data analytics methods and their application in business practice or experience

• Strong programming or data analytical skills

• Practical knowledge of R/Python, SQL, SAS

• Nice to have: Hive or Tableau; Any other analytics tools would be an advantage

• Experience in providing results of analyses in clear written form and presenting the findings to the audience

• Ability to evaluate and interpret information and reach logical fact-based conclusions

• Initiative, creativity and attention to details
