DevOps Engineer (Application Frameworks Team)
Work place: Warszawa
As a DevOps Engineer in Application Frameworks Team you will be responsible for discovering, evaluating, certifying and delivering programming frameworks to developer community across the firm.
The overall objective is of the role to equip developers in tools that will allow them to build modern applications and deploy them in on-premise and potentially external Cloud environment.
Responsibilities:
- Discover and evaluate programming frameworks suitable for modern applications development
- Certify and distribute frameworks deemed strategic for specific sector or entire company
- Deliver and support application frameworks on all strategic platforms - Windows, Linux, Docker/OpenShift
- Participate in various projects that span across different teams with common goal - improve and automate infrastructure and application deployment
- Support developer community and help them achieve business goals
- Work in a Scrum culture
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years experience working as a DevOps Engineer
- Basic knowledge of at least one of the modern programming languages
- Basic knowledge of at least one programming / application framework (Spring, .NET Framework, .NET Core or other)
- Proven experience creating scripts in at least one scripting language
- Very good understanding of modern applications architecture (microservices, containerization)
- Very good understanding and experience working with Docker and at least one container-orchestration system
- Very good understanding of CI/CD and experience with at least one tool supporting this concept
- Very good understanding of Infrastructure As Code and experience with at least one tool supporting this concept
- Very good knowledge of Linux operating system (knowledge of Windows Server will be a plus)
- Experience working with JIRA, git, software repositories
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and Polish
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
