Early Warning Lead is a position in Credit Lending Management Department in ICG & CCB Risk Unit that coordinates work of early warning team. Key role of the Early Warning lead is to enhance and automate Early Warning processes, using as much as possible available data and new techniques to analyze data. Early Warning Lead will be responsible for leading and coordinating ongoing early warning process and to support the CLM, ICG Business and Independent Risk teams in efficient portfolio monitoring, ensuring appropriateness of early warning signals and timely escalation processes. The aim of the role is to identifying potential risks and weaknesses and taking adequate actions to mitigate them, supporting delivery of Bank goals of high quality and profitability portfolio growth.
Key Responsibilities:

Work with Business, Technology and Risk partners to provide solutions in client monitoring process, ensuring proper project specification and delivery

Investigate user needs, suggest data sources and streamlined monitoring process flow to automate Early Warning processes to recognize deterioration in credit risk at early stages

Ensure delivery of tools which result in higher productivity and better control environment

Implement changes in processes and policy related to Early Warning across the businesses. Provide training required to the users to ensure that the system functionality is used effectively

Support managing of credit risk of portfolio, ensuring its high quality and adequate classification, cooperating with Business Partners, CLM and Independent Risk in that stance

Support ongoing monitoring of financial situation of the clients, incl. analysis and trends in industry, external and internal early warning signals, as well as monitoring actions taken to mitigate risk

Initiating and recommending changes to credit process and regulation in order to increase effectiveness of the credit process;

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in. analysis of mid-corporates and small corporates

Very good knowledge of regulations impacting credit process and credit analysis

Very good knowledge of Accounting regulations (UoR/MSR/MSSF), ALM and Fraud regulations
-
Analytical thinking, ability to draw conclusions and present sound and independent judgement
-
Very good communication skills, ability to cooperate with different internal and external partners

Effective time and tasks management, ability to set priorities and work under time pressure
-
Excellent knowledge of IT tools used at work (MS Office, data base)

Very good English knowledge.
