Job description:

You will provide support to front line Shell Aviation Operations across Europe. This role acts as the interface between Shell Aviation and airport operations. Central to this role is the management of activities covering operational expenditure for Into-Plane and Fuel Storage. Other key responsibilities include actively contributing to continuous improvement and operational excellence at Shell Operations and with our Partners, to improve customer satisfaction. Our Team supports a diverse contract portfolio consisting of Into-Plane and Storage 3-rd parties, joint ventures and concessions agreements across more than 60 locations. We support 11 countries- UK, Austria, Netherlands, Germany, Finland, Sweden, France, Czech, Slovakia and Turkey.

Your main duties would be:

-managing the creation, monitoring and closure of Purchase Orders, coded payments for operational expenditure in Shell Operations
-ensuring the accuracy of payments by verifying that rates, charges and scope of work are correctly represented on invoices
-preparing monthly concession reports for airport authorities
-carrying out location/country specific activities regarding claiming VAT and customs, tax and other submissions

-acting as a first point of escalation to resolve operational issues to resolve customer disputes within targeted timeframes
-working closely with other team members to drive continuous improvement, especially for Requisition to Payment and Asset Management tools, processes and ways of working, as well as cooperating with Into-Plane Operations and Customer Operations to determine root cause of invoice accuracy errors



Requirements:

If you have:

-experience in Requisition to Payment process and tools e.g. Ariba
-good English skills, both verbal and written
-ability to communicate in some of European languages (e.g. Dutch, Swedish, German, French, Finnish, Czech, Turkish) that would be an asset
-experience in task/workload prioritization
-ability to manage multiple stakeholders
-attention to detail and accuracy
-analytical skills and data reporting experience
-continuous improvement mindset /
process simplification experience..
