The primary purpose of this role is to provide credit data management, policy advisory services and control related functions that facilitate and enhance the credit approval process.
Responsibilities:

Maintain relationship and facility data in credit systems, support a portfolio with supervision.

Monitoring of approval requests for Letters of Credit and Guarantees transactions (queue management).

Cooperation with other regional CRMS teams.

Reviews credit documents and ensure that they are in compliance with Citibank Credit Policies and Standards;

Process incoming credit requests and review for completeness and accuracy, convert to concise, accurately recorded credit facilities in CitiRisk Facility Management.

Manage processes and procedures to ensure effectiveness. Maintain, as required, up-to-date process manuals, and ensure that documented processes are adhered to.

Prepare accurate CAs in a timely manner. Track CA progress during approval, ensure approvals are received in compliance with credit policy and recorded in database accurately.

Take ownership of the data in CitiRisk FM and Optima. Understand data flows for all data element categories; investigate and resolve the underlying causes of errors

Works with other team members if required to provide efficient and timely results.

Develops, analyzes and interprets the data from the risk systems, making comparable analyses, recommending options and courses of action;

Work closely with RMs, Product, and Portfolio Managers to ensure smooth coordinated process to manage relationships

Works closely with the other teams to ensure knowledge sharing and transfer of best practices;

Works closely with other parties such as technology when required to resolve issues.

Participate in user acceptance testing of and training for new systems/releases related to credit reporting.

Checks that the required documents for each approved facility are in place according to Credit Policies and local requirement before proceeding to release it in the credit system.

Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Ability to produce work accurately and under pressure to challenging deadlines;

Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel

Self-motivated and detail oriented

Good analytical and problem solving skills; Some credit risk and product knowledge;

Ability to adapt to new situations and implement changes
