The Business Continuity Management Analyst is a developing professional role. In this role, you will apply analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies, as well as integrate in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Moreover, you will deal with variable issues with potentially broader business impact and apply professional judgment when interpreting data and results, as well as break down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Quality and timeliness of service you provide, will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.
Therefore, this role requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are also required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information.
Responsibilities:

Provide guidance to Application Development and Support teams on CoB Testing Strategy and Compliance with Citi’s CoB Policy/Standards particularly with regards to future emerging technologies and existing but less mature technologies including Cloud, Robotic Process Automation, Blockchain, etc.

Gain a strong understanding of Citi CoB Policy and provide appropriate consultation to technology and business areas about options for resolution

Prepare CoB related presentations and provide materials for various fora

Provide support at the time of a disaster/event.

Face off to senior management and technology control teams. Provide continuous test program monitoring, reporting and key program initiatives

Liaison with a testing team and provide oversight & support for end to end applications testing for datacenter tests, technical rooms tests, volume tests and supplier DR tests.

Ensure technology plans are updated and tested to meet program requirements.

Manage and Advise Technology organizations on completion of Application Recovery Plans to comply with Citi’s standards and best practices

Provide support with Clients’ Due Diligence Testing enquiries

Provide Testing Evidence and on occasion face off to Auditors, Regulators, Clients and inter-affiliate entities

Coordinate denial-of-access/Work Area Recovery tests and ensure compliance with corporate policy

Occasional Project Management of key DR or BCM initiatives

Provide oversight for Technology Corrective Action Plans includes ensuring implementation of remediation

Complete all tasks in connection with the organization’s activity but not detailed in the current job description, charged by the direct or matrix managers
Requirements:

1+ year work experience preferably in business continuity management or IT, preferably in financial services
-
Strong technical aptitude/background
-
Strong interpersonal skills, with experience in interacting with a multicultural staff at all levels within the organization.

Strong understanding of technologies supporting large global banks

Understanding of recovery strategy development and insight into industry best practices
-
Disaster Recovery/Business continuity and audit/compliance/controls experience a plus

Excellent English written and verbal communication skills

Advanced user proficiency in Microsoft Office products

Strong analytical skills

Excellent organizational, planning and prioritization skills

Production support or SA experience a plus

Ability to analyze data with Python a strong plus
