This position is within the Citi Private Bank Operations and Technology Department. Candidate will be part of a Global data team that will deliver data-centric programs and projects across the Private Bank. This role will participate in the in the full project lifecycle of critical data related projects – from development to maintenance of solutions. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of all aspects of the product lifecycle and a background in the technology used to build it, but whose focus will be on business analysis, requirements gathering and defining optimal solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing a clear understanding of project Business Requirements
• Writing and maintaining Business/Functional Requirements Documents
• Prepare Functional Requirements & Design Document in collaboration with various internal stakeholders
• Acting as a “translator” between the business, Change and Operation & Technology Teams
• Working with engineers to find synergistic and scalable solutions to the business problem
• Explain overall requirements to various Applications Owners and engaged in cross review of functional requirements
• Use data modelling practices to analyse your findings and create suggestions for strategic and operational improvements and changes
• Working with stakeholders at all levels as defined by the individual project
• Assisting with integration and acceptance testing
• Supporting the development of training and implementation material
• Providing support during and post implementation
• Developing project plans and providing project management assistance
• Communicate with colleagues to understand the needs of departments
• Key Stakeholder management with various internal customers, partners, and internal and external suppliers
• Working with users, business analysts, and developers to understand user and system requirements
• Assisting the QA team in generating scenarios for effective and thorough testing
• Delivering material/presentations to Senior Management, internal and external clients
• Ensure System designs and solutions are as per Citi policies, and procedures and guidelines

Knowledge/Experience:

• Minimum 4 years of experience as Business Analyst, or related Banking IT experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience as system analyst in software development projects
• Product development techniques and methods
• Understanding of systems engineering and technical database concepts
• Experience in typical private banking products such as Loans, Deposits, Mortgages, Fund Transfers, Client Reporting, Tax, Capital Markets, trust will be an added value
• Familiarity with Project Management (Requirement management, Risk Management, Resource Management, Project Integration Management etc.)
• Exposure to various SDLC methodologies
• Familiar with various project management tools (JIRA, SharePoint etc.)

• Strong communication skills, ability to explain business requirements in a clear and concise manner to various stakeholders (supplier, partners, management etc.) in various forum
• Self-motivated and a team player that works well with individuals and thrives in a complex, global organization
• Ability to build relationships and negotiate solutions while liaising between business, operations, technology
• Ability to work in challenging, demanding and strict regulatory timelines
• Written and verbal English communication, including technical writing skills
