At the Citi Technology Infrastructure (CTI) Global Production Operations we operate multiple services and technologies and are currently seeking a talented person to run our operations within Network technology as a key part of the CTI Enterprise Command Center Operations Team. As the Advanced Network Engineer you will be responsible for daily maintaining of Citi Global Network Infrastructure. In this role you will be managing over 50k network devices all over the world (Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Load Balancers, DNS etc.). This is all done from our state of the art regional Command Center in partnership with the Process Leads, Workflow Coordinators, Staff Managers and the Network Team in cooperation with our other Operations centers located in North and South America, Europe and Asia. This role will have a direct reporting line into Regional Platform Lead to promote collaboration and consistency.
This position gives you an excellent deal of liberty to self-determine organizational and career direction. Being a Technology Expert role it is expected you demonstrate high competency in Network Infrastructure Technology and willingness to grow your knowledge and skills in that area.
Role and Responsibilities:

In this role you will be responsible for maintaining Citi Global Network Infrastructure (one of the biggest network infrastructures in the world)

You will be solving problems related to issues up to 3rd layer of OSI model (sometimes in 4th layer also)

You will be working with various carriers & vendors across the Globe (Verizon, Colt, Telmex, AT&T, Cisco, Arista etc.)

You will be responsible for hardware replacements (Prestage, 1:1 device replacement, Supervisory Module replacements etc.)

You will be responsible for detecting and fixing configurational issues

You will be cooperating with various internal expert teams around the globe
Requirements:

At least 5 years of experience in Network Area (Network Operations Centre preferable)

Industry network specific certifications – CCNP, CCIE or adequate level of knowledge

Knowledge of networking hardware (Cisco, Arista, F5, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Juniper etc.)

Ability to work independently and search for problem solutions

Able to work under time pressure and effectively prioritize the work

Good organizational and coordinating skills
