Your role

Are you interested in taxes? Do you have desire to develop and acquire tax and KYC related knowledge?

We’re looking for someone like this to:
• Act as an expert of tax regulatory topics AEI/FATCA/QI (Qualified Intermediary)
• Ensure completeness, accuracy and timeliness of UBS reportings to external authorities
• Execute bookings and tax payments
• Perform quality checks and controls

Your team

You’ll be working in the Tax reclaim team in Wroclaw. We are responsible for reviewing tax documentation and performing validation for new account opening requests in compliance with requirements as well as performing remediation for already collected tax documentation.

Your expertise

• a university degree in Finance or related
• extensive experience in a similar role
• strong knowledge about tax regulatory related topics
• KYC/AML related experience or KYC data management experience
• at least a basic understanding of the banking industry and its products
• the ability to communicate effectively with other teams and stakeholders
• advanced data analysis skills
• very deep knowledge of MS Outlook (Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel)
• an advanced level of written and spoken English
• German language skills as a plus
• a team player who treats his colleagues and clients with respect and friendliness
• reliable, and paying attention to details
• risk focused, with a sound judgement for when to escalate issues
• curious and willing to improve your skills continuously
• a quick learner, able to adapt new processes and applications smoothly
• self-driven and flexible
