Brown Brothers Harriman is looking for a talented and self-motivated Oracle Data integrator (ODI) Developer to be a member of the Client Master Reference Data team. The individual in this role will be responsible for analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and troubleshooting of the Inbound and Outbound data feeds to the MDM solutions, as well as, providing technical leadership for the team. Responsibilities will include development of the new interfaces, enhancements to existing interfaces and troubleshooting issues. Non-technical skillset should include a high degree of organization, effective communication, the ability to collaborate with internal and external teams that include system/business analysts, developers, managers and testers.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Assist in technical design within Client Master team. Identify and design solutions to be built and/or modified.

• Understand business requirements, design technical specification & develop new components for the ETL framework, identifying structures and processes to ensure that relevant data is captured.

• Conduct walk-throughs to review ETL Components, Mapping, Packages and Procedures, and all technical supporting documentation.

• Maintain integrity, metadata and data lineage for ETL inbound/outbound processes including onboarding new sources/targets via data profiling to identify data quality checks.

• Actively participate in data integration, data profiling, data validation and data quality processes and resolve data mapping and data quality issues in partnership with QA and development teams.

• Develop and validate use case scenarios for new data intake, as well as, continuous regression validation of existing data relationships and lineage.

• Review ETL environment for Inbound/Outbound processes and help with overall data governance model.

• Engage and interact closely with business and IT stakeholders to understand Business requirements and current constraints.

• Develop unit and integration tests that thoroughly exercise logic to ensure the desired application functionality and performance in alignment with business requirements.

• Conduct technical research and provide recommendations.

• Guide and provide training to other team members.

Qualifications for your role would include:

• 4+ years of Oracle Data integrator (ODI) experience (ODI v12c preferred).

• Excellent technical aptitude and understanding of Oracle Fusion Middleware stack.

• Strong experience with Oracle Relational databases and / or Oracle Exadata.

• Hands on experience with flat files, JSON and other complex files as source and target.

• Good understanding about topology, user access, logical and physical contexts etc.

• Performance tuning.

• Provide production support to resolve any issues within the defined SLA's.

• Should have good communication skills, analytical ability and problem-solving skills.

• Should be able to articulate the issues and propose viable solutions.

Nice To Have:

• Experience with integration with Informatica MDM.

• Exposure to shell scripting, JSON, XML, PLSQL, Web Services, Relational Database Management System.

• Knowledge of financial services is a plus.
