Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting Operations Supervisor to join our Securities Lending team. In this role you will be responsible for the effective process management, direction and supervision of the team within Poland Markets Department, reporting to Team Leader. You will assist the staff with day to day processing activities in order to escalate timely, provide the team with constructive feedback and ensure adherence to policies, procedures and that standards of quality and controls are met. As the Supervisor you will be responsible for, but not limited to, developing and maintaining working relationships between the team and other ops groups by interacting and addressing issues as they arise. Part of your duties will also include monitoring inquiries and issues resolution. The role will involve project management related tasks, focused on on-boarding new clients / regulations (incl. CSDR) and functions from other BBH locations.

Key responsibilities include:
- Ensures daily output standards, both quality and timeliness, are met
- Maintains a process to ensure simplicity and clarity around key controls as well as segregation of duties
- Oversees the proper Securities Lending process delivery which may include Collateral Management, Settlements, Recall Desk, Control Desk, Data Control teams
- Ensures adherence to all established policies, procedures and controls
- Ensures the team’s procedures are documented and ready for audit
- Assists management in the implementation of policies, procedures and controls
- Monitors work flow to determine areas that require assistance to ensure completion of all tasks
- Monitors time utilization of the team
- Identifies and resolves workflow issues
- Assists staff with day to day processing activities
- Energizes and inspires team and generates excitement, a sense of pride, and a drive to excel
- Helps to enhance the productivity of the unit
- Interacts with team management and client to ensure that defined services are being conducted at the highest standard possible
- Manages several projects efficiently with limited resources and tight deadlines
- Escalates and resolves high exposure and complex items
- Prepare and distribute all required reporting
- Communicates professionally and constructively to resolve issues in order to minimize risk and exposure

Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree
- 2 to 5 years of industry experience (Securities Lending, Corporate Actions, collateral management, trade processing and settlement experience is a plus)
- Supervisory experience
