Your role

Do you have a solid background in risk management or control assurance, preferably in the financial services industry? Are you ready to manage the risks of a large and complex technology organiza-tion? Can you assist us with remediation of risk and control deficiencies? We’re looking for someone like that to help us to:

o assist us with managing risks & controls for the Finance, Risk & Analytics (FRAS) IT organization
o analyze risk-related metrics, identify trends, peaks and exceptions, and agree next steps
o support our risk remediation projects
o assist with internal and external audits impacting the FRAS IT organization
o assist with ad hoc and recurring assessments, affirmations, and policy adherence
o support the implementation of our Operational Risk Framework
o drive design, development, adoption and improvement of our risk management processes
o enhance understanding of risk management across FRAS IT, and engage with stakeholders to fur-ther improve an effective risk culture

Your team

You’ll be working in our risk management team supporting Finance, Risk & Analytics IT in the UBS office in London. We’re responsible for technology risk management, managing risk remediation, and ensuring technology controls are designed and operating effectively. You'll be working closely with many stakeholders – e.g. application developers, production support, systems engineering, 2nd and 3rd lines of defense, and internal & external audit.

You enjoy

You have
o a university degree
o a solid understanding of operational risk management
o work experience in information technology, maybe even 1st, 2nd, or 3rd line of defense
o have strong analytical skills

o navigate in a global, complex organization
o organize work to meet competing priorities and deadlines

You are
o able to effectively identify and communicate emerging risks and control deficiencies
o able to assist with remediating issues and deficiencies
