Brown Brothers Harriman is looking for a Systems Business Analyst to join an Exchange Traded Funds (ETF) team. You will be a part of group working initially on Burst Re-Write project being high profile internal investment and core ETF system to generate, transfer and monitor all the activities which relates to trades bursting process.
Your key responsibilities will include:

Working with Business Stakeholders groups to understand requirements and formulate user stories

Cooperating with System Architects to prepare various technical options and recommendations for solutions to business problems and presenting them to the Business Stakeholders

Working closely with Scrum team members (developers and testers) throughout the entire software development lifecycle to explain the business needs – e.g. daily stand ups, kick-off meetings

Maintaining documentation describing business logic and application behavior
Additional responsibilities:

Performing DB queries and analyzing data
-
3rd level production support and issues analysis
-
Playing or supporting Scrum Master role
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems, and/or equivalent work experience

Excellent oral and written communication skills in English is a must
-
Focus on true business needs and incremental delivery
-
Ability to create stories in line with “INVEST” principles
-
SQL programming skills with ability to write simple Oracle queries
-
Ability to adjust to changing priorities
-
Experience in analysis for IT projects
-
Domain knowledge in the ETF area will be a plus

Scrum master role experience will be a plus
