About the job
Your role will be an important expansion of the new team Data team. Your 3 new colleagues will all be based in Denmark, but the 4 of us will collaborate closely to handle all the packaging master data for UK, Denmark and Sweden in our new PLM system.
Our new system will raise the technical data level, allowing us to live up to the new EU sustainability standards and regulations. You will play a crucial role supporting our packaging engineers, in UK, the Netherlands, Sweden and Denmark as they hand you the technical specification of approved new packaging, which you will secure as master-data in the system. Structuring the data, you will then feed them back the information needed for the work-flow context.
Also, you will:
•Be part of the product management assistant cooperation workflow, assisting your colleagues when they create new packaging designs
•Ensure that we update our food safety documentation
•Keep our master data up to date
•Collect supplier data and upload it to our system
“With many data streams across dairies, you will be the one to create structure and have the overview of what needs to be done. If you manage that successfully, you will also be the one to find ways to work smarter,” says Peter.
Who are you?
Collaborating with and supporting your colleagues, you need to have a great understanding of their work and their needs to deliver on your tasks. Also, it is important that you can manoeuvre in an agile environment as our PLM system is constantly developing. Moreover, you:
•Probably have a degree within material technology related to packaging material or a diploma in packaging construction
•have perhaps recently graduated and are ready to learn and build on your knowledge – or perhaps you have experience from a packaging quality function
•Have a good understanding of complex data structures, and it is a plus if you have experience with a PLM system – or at least a flair for IT systems
•Have a good understanding of factors describing specific packaging materials as well as of sustainable packaging
•Are fluent in English
