Purpose of the role:
- Support European Marketing for seasonal and market orientated product promotions and other sales, push/pull promotional activity and actions
- Contribute to the implementation of a promotional activities for business partners and/or consumers.
What you’ll do:
- Run promotional activities for European markets while working closely with internal stakeholders to gain alignment and reporting results and under supervision of the team
- Support the refinement of a working promotional strategy for small markets as part of the Marketing Package in close collaboration with the superior
- Contribute to the development and execution of short-term and mid-term product promotion plans (push and pull strategies) using supportive mechanics as discounts, gifts with purchase, product with purchase to increase sales
- Support within the coordination and track all projects related to all aspects of product promotions from start to completion, managing time lines and deliverables
- Support integration of communication plans with the existing portfolio using all available channels together with SBM and Communications Project Manager
- Review, prepare and track all materials for approval
- Work with internal sciences to ensure “buy in” to all activities, demonstrate value add of promotional activities
- Support BP&A to develop a business case including ROI and put adequate measurement in place including the post promotional analysis in collaboration with superior
- Provide analytical and reporting support
- Extract and analyze data to support decision making
- Define and track key performance measures
- Support the onboarding process of interns and new staff
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Marketing), MBA/MM preferred.
- Minimum of 1+ years previous work experience preferred as a promotions planner or experience in other marketing disciplines.
- Ideally direct selling experience and experience in the FMCG industry
- Languages: Fluent in written and spoken English and any additional European languages are welcome
- Demonstrate ability to adopt an integrated approach to marketing
- Demonstrate creative flair within the marketing spectrum
- Experienced in data analysis and planning systems
- A team player, experienced in working with international teams and cross-functional teams.
- Understanding and good use of PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- Self-reliant, proactive and highly motivated
- Able to work under pressure and with deadlines
- Ability to travel
