Job Purpose:
The Global Planning Tool (GPT) lead is a key contributor to the Integrated Activity Planning (IAP) process. The GPT leads, owns and runs the IAP Portal for Supply Chain Deepwater Gulf of Mexico (DW GoM). They are responsible for ensuring that the portal is working effectively as well as partnering with the Global IT team to escalate any issues that arise. The GPT lead is the resident super user for Primavera and IMPRESS and provides planning and scheduling expertise to the entire planning community in the Supply Chain for DW GoM.
Job Accountabilities:

Super User for Primavera

Control access and high-level views and functions for Primavera

Owns and supports the IAP Portal (Integrated Activity Planning)

Manages data within Primavera to ensure proper update of key data elements so that activities are represented correctly in the IAP

Responsible for portal creation and preparation of IAP KPIs. Provides capability to create other KPIs for planning or supply chain.

Responsible for IAPS report building

Provides support on creating and viewing reports and information in Primavera

Acts as planning and scheduling Subject Matter Expert

Provides support to Short-Term and Mid-Term planners for integrating activities, resource plans, and performing planning and scheduling.

Performs training of new users as necessary

Acts as consultant for any planning initiatives and helps with understanding best practices regarding Primavera usage
Requirements:

At least 8 years of industry experience in planning and scheduling

Eexperience as Master scheduler for major industry turnaround of projects
-
Primavera Super User, Experience with Impress, SAP Construction Management Experience

Access Database Experience
-
Experience running and supporting IT business application

Ability to challenge and influence across multiple levels and organizations

Strong communication skills

Role model in planning the work and working the plan Experience should include:

Activity planning and understanding the work preparation required to meet plan entry criteria

IT skills – MS Word, MS Excel, ThinkCell, Power BI
