Do you want to lead and be a key player in the team setting the global digital communication strategy for Shell?

The Digital & Social Media Centre of Excellence set the overall group strategy for all digital communications channels at Shell. From well-established platforms, such as Facebook and our websites, to emerging and cutting-edge voice and experiential platforms, this team partners with all the major and emerging platforms in digital & social media to push the boundaries of what is possible, and set the standards for Shell’s communications.

We are looking for experienced candidates in both the digital channel strategy and marketing technology and innovation areas of the team.

You will:

  • Set the strategy for key communications channels to deliver unparalleled customer experiences.
  • Provide best-in-class counsel to the business for digital and social media as a leading expert in the industry.
  • Lead the adoption of key marketing technology solutions and drive innovative problem solving through use of our products.
  • Ensure business requirements are prioritised on the product and platform roadmaps of our partners.
  • Strive to deliver marketing maturity and content effectiveness across the business.
  • Drive innovation in marketing communications to deliver tangible business value.

Requirements:

  • Extensive and comprehensive knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing.
  • Digital communications expert, with comprehensive experience in managing websites and social media campaigns.
  • Experience with using marketing technology to support digital communications.
  • General knowledge of digital and social analytics, able to interpret reports and dashboards across a variety of tools.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Professional working language proficiency in a second European language is advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to influence outcomes at a senior level.
