The Contracting & Procurement Excellence Manager will lead and oversee the Learning & Development agenda for the Trading & Supply CP community addressing the community’s functional and leadership competence gap closure needs. This person pulls insights and best practices from across CP and the various businesses CP supports e.g., CI projects, improved ways of working, etc. to progress the business supply chain agenda holistically.
Ability to work for a second shift (13.30 – 22.00) with extra premium paid.
ACCOUNTABILITIES

Develop and support the implementation of innovative change management, communication strategy and stakeholder engagement plans.

Active leadership and participation with the GM and CP Trading & Supply leadership team members to develop the strategic vision for the business CP.

Manage the CP Trading & Supply leadership team priorities, planning, and performance measurement activities, both short-term and long-term. This includes developing and facilitating LT agendas and engagements.

Prepare and drive the execution of strategic CP plans and monitor performance to deliver Top Quartile performance (including Assurance planning activities); identify and drive strategic priorities and efficiency initiatives.

Coordinate, embed and align fit-for-purpose systems and processes.

Prepare, monitor and track performance against the agreed Integrated Business plans. Ensure reporting is streamlined and automated. Proactively identify delivery risks and mitigation measures.

Support VP/GMs quarterly appraisals preparation and ad-hoc reporting for senior management.

Develop change and engage strategy, plan and execute staff and stakeholder communication e.g., townhalls, webcasts.

Lead development of future capabilities and competencies as business needs involve and lead learning & development for CP Trading & Supply team.

Ensure all governance, assurance, and compliance processes and standards are implemented and embedded into work processes.

Identify continuous improvement (CI) activities to be adopted to maintain top quartile performance.

Requires significant commercial experience & commercial acumen.
