As a successful candidate you will be entrust with following responsibilities:
PRODUCT CVP DEVELOPMENT:

Own overall product strategy for differentiated fuels to support business strategy.

Define annual budget/plan and manage on-going delivery of R&D programme in conjunction with Projects & Technology to drive differentiated fuels growth and deliver on business priorities.

Drive further value creation from differentiated fuels by identifying opportunities to extend to new applications/sectors and leading future claims and messaging development
-
Work closely with Mobility on co-ordination of fuels launches and development of mid and long-term R&D planning. Steer and support the regional Technology Advisor to deliver fit-for-purpose technical support for organizational units in fuels launches, customer engagements/events, deals and testimonial development.

Track differentiated fuels performance to asses value contribution and future budget allocation/planning.

Manage global interface with Fuels Product Management (FPM) / Product Quality (PQ) teams, providing business representation and inputs including leading the annual Product Portfolio Plan (PPP) for Commercial Fuels.
MARKETING AND SALES:

Own and deliver the global Marketing OPEX budget/plan and manage the development of all global marketing communication and sales materials/tools

Drive fuels technology and thought leadership, working with P&T and Marcomms Lead to develop messaging/materials and demonstration tools for customer engagements/events/PR.

Lead development of new propositions (beyond traditional fuels and services),

Drive marketing and sales effectiveness through regular organizational units engagements, best practice sharing and competency development.

Lead annual marketing planning process

Deliver value selling training programmes for improving sales competency and extracting further value from differentiated fuels. Support indirect channel excellence through the development of Distributor Value Propositions, provision of marketing and sales assets, digital solutions.

Foster cross-business collaboration to identify cross-selling opportunities and customer-centric initiatives with Sectors & Decarbonisation, Mobility, Lubricants. B2B Fuels focal point for providing CVP, marketing and sales support for product launches.
The ideal candidate would have:

A proven track record of developing global/regional marketing programmes across the marketing mix and enabling value-adding delivery at a local level.

Ability to inspire and lead teams in a global virtual environment without formal authority.

Strong stakeholder management at all levels of the organisation including senior leaders
-
Strong commercial acumen and a good understanding of fuels supply chain, interfaces and integrated value delivery.

Understanding of the energy transition landscape and customer trends in B2B sectors, with proven ability to leverage market insights to differentiate from competitors.

Experience in B2B sectors would be a distinct advantage, and experience in Commercial Fuels business - beneficial. Technical expertise or qualifications not required but the ability to grasp technical concepts and translate these into compelling customer offers is a critical success factor for the role. Active change management to support monetizing both traditional core offers and scaling up new energy solutions.
