Your role
Are you passionate about software engineering and bringing new systems to life? Do you have the drive to innovate? Do you have experience in developing software in Python, R or Scala?
We’re looking for someone like that to join us and:
- be part of the project team and be involved in day-to-day tasks alongside our Tech professionals
- learn about new technologies, our products and other core business topics
- apply your knowledge and expertise to delivering solutions and system
- learn about general aspects of investment banking, wealth management, asset management and personal & corporate banking
- get to know your colleagues through networking, social events and cross-business trainings
Your team
Join one of our engineering teams in Zurich and develop your programming skills, selling your ideas, communicating and helping others achieve state of the art delivery pipelines.
The program offers you the chance to spend up to 12 months being a part one of our Technology teams. Working alongside our engineers and businesses stakeholders will allow you to gain a wider perspective on technology and how it's used in the financial industry.
When does the program start? In July 2020
Your expertise
– a computer science or computer engineering-related education background
– expertise in fundamentals of computing science including data structures and algorithms.
– experience with NoSql databases (Cassandra, Neo4j, Redis) and understanding of different types.
– clean coding skills and excellent problem solving ability.
– fluency in design patterns and refactoring techniques.
– experience with RESTful web services and messaging systems.
– knowledge of agile development practices (Scrum, XP, Kanban etc)
– experience of using Github
– focus on quality
– an excellent communicator
– aware of on-going technology trends and know pragmatically leverage their benefits
– quick learner
– comfortable working independently, as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
– fluent in English, both spoken and written
