The Legal Applications Analytics Manager will be responsible for growing an existing suite of applications in support of Legal department billing, contracting, and other processes. The core responsibilities include end-to-end application delivery from design to production, user access provisioning, change control, and on-going maintenance.

What you will be responsible for

As Legal Applications Analytics Manager you will

  • Hands-on application design/building/testing and technical documentation creation

  • Support requirements gathering, production releases, and end-user support of custom State Street workflows

  • Support all State Street user acceptance testing and internal approvals in coordination with the vendor

  • Support all State Street Production Release Schedules, Internal Documentation/Training Updates, and Release Management in coordination with the vendor

  • Review, approve, and provision access for new users

  • Support the impact assessment, user acceptance testing, and documentation of change

  • Be familiar with all overlapping functionality across the suite of applications and document and support changes to solutions with overlapping functionality

  • Support the on-going maintenance and new feature rollouts in coordination with the vendor and State Street’s Information Technology department

  • Respond to end-user technical issues; troubleshoot and debug applications and escalate significant issues to the vendor, as necessaryProvide training/demos to end-users on application functionality

  • Excellent understanding of modern web application technologies

  • Good knowledge and experience with data modeling and database development

  • Exceptional critical thinking and analytical skills, ability to approach problems with creative and innovative solutions

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Vendor management experience preferred

  • Experience with legal operations processes and supporting technologies preferred

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience acquired on the job.

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in software applications and agile methodologies

  • Experience with the development process from definition through design, build, test, release, and maintenance

  • Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS), especially financial management, process management, and process automation software

  • Experience with data visualization and building interactive Tableau dashboards
