Regulatory Reporting Specialist is responsible for:
- production of UCITS, AIFMD, PRIIPs and MiFID compliant regulatory reports (80% capacity)
- providing solutions that automate and streamline the processes within Regulatory Reporting domain (20% capacity)
Responsibilities:
- Preparation, creation and review of regulatory reports/report data according to the event calendar and client requirements (in various languages and versions if needed)
- Collection and controlling of all necessary inbound data from other teams/locations
- Dissemination of final reports to the clients and distributors
- Ensuring agreed delivery service levels and regulatory filing deadlines are met
- Being responsive to the internal/external client needs in a timely and professional manner and anticipating possible solutions to challenges
- Working on regulatory reporting process improvement projects from technology perspective
- Understanding of data flows and processes for regulatory reporting
- Analysing business needs and requirements in order to improve processes and increase effectiveness through technology
- Working closely with various stakeholders (OPS teams, IT teams, project managers, business change managers, process owners and external stakeholders ) to understand requirements and translate those into technical implementations (such as Excel VBA solutions) to fulfil requirements from regulators or business
- Developing, implementing and maintaining new and existing tools (macros) used by regulatory reporting teams
- Performing non-routine data review and analysis
- Performing user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure tools and systems perform according to the business requirement document (BRD)
- Supporting the rollout of the new system to regulatory reporting teams
- Represent department in BSU Meetings as ACE Navigator/Ambassador
- Providing constant support and assistance for regulatory reporting teams for any technical and BAU related issues (if needed)
- Keeping abreast of product and regulatory changes
Requirements:
- Core knowledge of current reporting requirements under UCITS, AIFMD, PRIIPs and MiFID
- Good working knowledge of different types of Financial Instruments
- Excellent IT skills, in particular advanced Excel skills with VBA programming
Knowledge of Access database development - Fluent in English
- French or Italian language would be an asset
- Strong data analysis expertise
- Good analysis and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Process improvement experience
- Ability to adapt to changes quickly
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and manage strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
