Your role
Do you have a passion for risk management? Are you interested in understanding how banks manage their unique risks during periods of economic and financial stress? If so, UBS is looking for a motivated self-starter to:
•Coordinate the development of various macroeconomic and risk scenarios to be used in regulatory stress testing exercises
•Develop an enterprise-wide view of how primary and consequential risks are addressed and managed as part of the stress testing framework and capital planning process
•Engage with a broad range of stakeholders across the organization to assess the impact of material risks to stress results
•Prepare, summarize and present results to senior management, governing bodies, and the Board
•Clearly and thoroughly document scenario development and generation processes, procedures and results for regulators and senior management
•Assist with project management, capital plan maintenance, responses to regulatory inquiries, and ad hoc initiatives to meet evolving stakeholder needs and expectations
•Manage multiple deliverables concurrently and enable decision making on funding and prioritization
Your team
You’ll be working with the Scenario Coordination and Analysis team within Risk Methodology in our Krakow office. Our role is to coordinate the development of stress scenarios to ensure all material risks, primary and consequential, are addressed in the stress testing framework. The team works closely with Risk Identification, Political and Country Risk, Stress Methodology, PPNR team, Reporting and the Front Office.
Your expertise
•Undergraduate or Master's degree in Finance or Economics; FRM, PRM or CFA certification preferred
•Minimum of 3+ years of experience in the capital markets industry; consulting experience serving the financial services industry is a plus
•Experience in stress testing and/or Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR) preferred
•Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
•Superior relationship management skills, including ability to partner with and challenge senior business leaders to drive positive change
•Thrive in a dynamic and unstructured environment; deliver results autonomously and in a team setting
•Strong process and project management skills, with the ability to execute against tight deadlines and effectively respond to evolving requirements
•Strong analytic skills, specifically in data gathering and ad hoc research and analysis
