Responsibilities:
- Providing leadership and direction to Fund Accounting Team Leaders and their teams 7 teams) servicing multiple locations and processes (e.g. NAV calculation, Corporate Action, Reconciliation, Transaction, etc.) for a variety of fund structures
- Ensuring the assigned fund accounting team operates within a clearly defined, documented and tested control environment
- Leading the onboarding of existing client funds and the launch of new funds
- Ensuring Fund Accounting Policy requirements are met and procedures are followed in the department
- Being a point of escalation for internal/external queries, and develop/manage process, productivity, and quality standards
- Creating, developing, and maintaining business relationships, identifying and implementing service, system, and process enhancements
- Supporting development and achievement of strategic goals and annual performance/compensation cycle
- Day to day oversight, management and maintaining a high standard of client service
- Coordinating the delivery of all KPI’s, MI’s in a timely and accurate manner for relevant governance structures
- Collaborating with Senior Management and Risk to manage controls efficiently to alleviate any potential risk areas, including Management of Audits.
- Fostering an environment where teams are developed, trained and mentored to bring them to a high level of expertise and service skills, making use of the Training resources provided
We are looking for you, if you:
- Have a bachelor’s degree at a minimum
- Have at least 6 years of relevant working experience
- Have at least 3 years of managerial experience in a financial operations area, preferably within fund industry
- Are fluent in English
- Have proven ability in people management, and ability to inspire, delegate and gain the commitment among teams
- Have experience in planning, initiating and following through to meet objectives
- Demonstrate a high degree of self-reliance and self-motivation and should be able to take own initiatives to solve problems
- Have proven ability of logical, analytical and process thinking to identify, evaluate and solve complex problems/issues
- Display good organization skills and ability to work under pressure
- Have proven ability to lead through change and in project management
- Possess strong communication skills and ability to establish solid contacts with all areas and all levels at clients’ organizations as well as interdepartmental
- Present strong client servicing focus
