Asset Inventory Analyst delivers value through effective material supply planning, inventory optimization and the resulting asset availability performance. You will work closely with the Maintenance & Engineering disciplines and the Supply Chain sourcing team to set up the optimum supply chain tactic for all materials required by the asset and provides healthy challenge as part of the process.
In support of this activity, you will ensure the inventory is correctly accounted for and valued as per country and company requirements as well as drive structural ERP Data Quality improvements focusingon the data elements required for a sound & realistic stocking decision and optimized Material Requirement Planning (MRP) settings. The Inventory Analyst team provide business with detailed material/inventory analysis reports in support of E-2-E Supply Chain improvement activities and ensure cash preservation opportunities through effective management of repairables, returns and rentals, grey stock and the investment recovery process.
Requirements:
- About 3-5 yrs experience in supply chain, material management, inventory analysis or similar discipline
- Strong analytical skills- especially data extraction, databases analysis, insight creation and providing recommendations
- Delivery focus- on tangible value outcome for the enterprise, translating strategy into outcomes
- Proficiency in SAP modules, good working knowledge of MS Excel(e.g. pivots, VLOOKUP, if functions as a must)
- Fluent English (B2/C1) and Fluent German (B2/C1) required
- Experience in key inventory management activities, including: Material Requirement Planning, Physical inventory counting, materials repairs & returns management, forecasting, demand management, lead-time analysis, data quality analysis & follow-up
- Experience in material supply chain, business warehouse as well as understanding Planning&scheduling, Bill of Materials etc would be an asset
- Good communication skills, cooperativeness to drive teamwork between Technical and Commercial staff
