Operations is about delivering safety, operational excellent and customer delivery to wide range of airlines as well working closely with airports.
On the role you will

Own global implementation of the Control Framework and Shell Aviation (SAV) HSSE, you will be also responsible for implementation of Shell's safety and control management system requirements across SAV’s network of fixed facilities and Into-Plane services, both Shell managed and joint operations.

Be a leader and champion for globally led Hearts and Minds initiatives across the SAV organization.

Work with Group, Global Commercial, external HSSE professionals and the regional HSSE Managers to identify HSSE Best Practices and opportunities to continuously improve HSSE performance and the Global Center of Excellence works through the regional teams to implement updates to policies and programmes.

Oversee HSSE Auditing program of operational sites to identify gaps and drive gap closure.

Work with 180 locations across the globe, manage different contracts set up, embraces operations and building safety plan based on competence, culture and compliance

Lead, coach and manage a team of senior HSSE experts (up to 10)

Participate in scheduled audits

Ensure alignment of SAV processes and procedures with changes to the Group Control Framework.

Strongly focus on Hearts and Minds behaviours at the front line including tapping into ideas for HSSE improvements and delivering on these.

Identify opportunities for HSSE continual improvements in terms of processes / systems
Role may require global travel, time away from home and management of travel arrangements.

Requirements

HSSE management professional with >10 years proven track record in a multinational environment including team management. An individual, who has the drive, communication and leadership skills required to influence and change people mindsets.

HSSE related or technical degree qualification

Strong leadership and commitment and genuine deep commitment and authenticity around drive to HSSE improvement focused on asset integrity, operational compliance & assurance and frontline behavioral safety

Proven track record in being able to work with effectively with third parties such as JVs or as a representative on an industry bodies

Proven ability to lead and support of delivery of complex change projects.

Sensitivity to cultural differences and the ability to work with and through varying cultural approaches to achieve optimal global goals

Formal training in HSSE tools techniques, especially HEMP, Tripod methodology, casual learning & Safe Systems of Work

English fluent with excellent written and verbal presentation skills (min. C1)
