Who we are looking for

We are looking for a Payroll/HR professional with knowledge of Polish labour law who will join our Poland Payroll Team for fix term contract (24 months)

Location: Krakow or Gdansk

Your new role

As Payroll Specialist you will:

  • Work closely with payroll vendor and internal teams to ensure payroll calculation completeness and correctness

  • Deliver payroll to whole population in Poland with strong focus on verification process

  • Support payroll activities in a timely, accurate and efficient manner in line with local legislative requirements

  • Provide regular as well as ad-hoc HR and Payroll reports, data and statistics;

  • Ensure effective and timely flow of critical information to all relevant parties/vendors/third parties and follows up on administrative details within or across divisions that includes handling confidential and sensitive information that pertains to employee personal sensitive data;

  • Administer payroll data and files and employees’ database (ensure payroll-related documentation is processed correctly and in a timely manner as required by Polish Labor Law and internal procedures);

  • Follow operationalized end-to-end local regulatory requirements and internal policies and programs;

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • University degree - HR/finance/accounting preferred

  • 2 or more years’ experience in Poland payroll or HR operations position with a an understanding of best practices around controls regulations tax compliance and working with outsourced providers

  • Good knowledge of Polish Labor law, with special focus on Personal Income Tax and Social Security regulations – would be an asset

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (MS Excel, Word, Outlook) is a must;

  • Working knowledge of HRIS and payroll systems will be an asset.
