The Governance team primary role is to ensure adequate governance is in place within the Global AML Centre to support the effectiveness of Corporate Programs / Policies, minimizing regulatory, monetary and reputational risks for the team and the team's service recipients.

Outsourcing Governance
Governance Specialist will be working closely with the Reporting Specialists to deliver periodic reporting to Service Recipients.
Team Governance
Governance Specialist will be coordinating the team’s governance requirements to adhere to Corporate Policies & Standards e.g. Business Continuity, Record Retention, Incident Management, Issues Management (exc. AML Program)
Reporting
The person will be responsible and accountable for design and execution of FLOD metrics in support of the AML Program.
Job responsibilities:

Equip the team with subject matter expertise on governance practices to satisfy outsourcing obligations

Support Outsourcing Engagement Managers with due diligence requests / site visit coordination / risk assessments

Lead the periodic review process for all outsourced arrangements to which the team are party to

Coordinate and host Service Review Meetings for Service Recipients

Assess and validate implementation of corporate Programs, Policies / Standards for the Global AML Center

Consult with appropriate AML Center specialists to ensure procedures & controls are developed where necessary to adhere to corporate Programs, Policies, Standards

Develop / update Governance Team procedures / guidance notes / controls in accordance with standards, technology and operating model changes

Oversee the Global AML Center Standard Operating Procedure library to ensure timely review by procedure owner

Act as Liaison for the team on Privacy / Data Protection / Record Retention & Destruction

Attend and participate in AML awareness training sessions to continue to enhance the quality of deliverables

Promote adherence to standard operating procedures and controls

Coordinate and oversee various administrative responsibilities and tasks for the team

• Experience with SharePoint would be an advantage

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Previous Level Of Experience:
• Prior experience in working in an international environment; designing communications and / or preparing materials for senior stakeholders would be an asset
• Knowledge of Anti Money Laundering, Know Your Client and Financial Crime regulations, policies and processes is desirable
• Experience in data analysis and report production preferable
