The Supply Chain Specialist - Capacity Planner position operates from SBO (Shell Business Operations)in Krakow, Poland and operates on daily basis with IAPS (Integrated Activity Planning and Scheduling) Team in GOM(Gulf of Mexico) USA, thus works in US-central time (UTC-7 hours). IAPS Team primary role is to integrate all planning activities connected with the supply of materials and people to eight active operating assets (oil rigs) that are located in Gulf of Mexico.
The Supply Chain Specialist Capacity Planner is responsible for understanding GoM supply chain capacity demand for marine vessels and aviation aircrafts and use output from the IAP process (Integrated Activity Planning) as a source of demand forecast for that capacity planning.
You will identify supply chain gaps and constrains with respect of meeting that demand and take necessary actions in due time to optimally plan the demandfor marine and aviation logistics services, so that Contract and Procurement can contract in advance adequate services (marine and aviation) to ensure optimal delivery of materials and people to the assets given the supply chain constrains.
This includes performing monthly and weekly reviews of the current utilization of supply chain resources and providing longer term forecasts based on historical actual demand for the move of materials (marine) and people (aviation) and the accuracy of these forecasts.
This role provides key insights to the Supply Chain Planning Manager and the Supply Chain Execution Manager in GOM on current contract capacities, plan credibility, and overall supply chain performance.

Experience should include:

Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain capacity planning in a constrained environment, demand planning preferably in production operations, maintenance, wells engineering or sub-sea. A technical degree would be an advantage as well as oil and gas industry experience.
