Your role
An IT Business Analyst within IB Tech Markets Regulation responsible for business architecture and driving business and process related parts of the delivery of strategic regulatory initiatives. Working hand-in hand with product owner, project managers and technical IT delivery leads on making sure the software and solutions delivered ensure firm’s compliance and are of the highest technical standards.
We're looking for someone who will:
- be a key person in design and documentation of business requirements
- collaborate with cross-functional teams
- work in a SCRUM team
- act as a SME across organization
- be self-organized and can lead smaller projects
- report and escalate to management as needed
Your team
IB Tech Markets Regulation in Poland consists of multiple teams looking after modern applications within Investment Bank space. We are a group of experts empowered to design and deliver regulatory reporting platform with use of cutting-edge technological stack, e.g. Kafka, Flink, Azure, Databricks, Kibana, Java, Spring, SpringBoot.
Our software is a heart of Investment Bank - we are implementing several strategic projects to process and report data to global regulators in a complete, accurate and timely manner, our applications are processing millions of messages daily with strict SLA.
As a Java Developer you'll play an important role in ensuring the development methodology is followed and lead technical design discussions with other Java Developers.

As regulations cover all aspects of the bank, the role will allow you to gain a comprehensive understanding of many financial instruments across multiple asset classes ranging from high volume Cash Equities to complex Commodities, Credit, Equities and Interest Rate derivatives.
Your expertise
– experience in applying business analysis techniques
– experience in enterprise architecture and system integration
– the nature of seeking the strategic and sustainable IT solutions
– the ability to understand and interpret a set of technical requirements (you know what they really want)
- experience in stakeholder management
– knowledge of modelling techniques (SBE, rule-based logics)
– an understanding of the software development lifecycle
– strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills
– ability to write SQL queries
– an understanding of XML and XPATH
– experience in financial markets, OTC and ETD derivatives
– experience in software development for the banking industry
– experience and understanding of financial regulations, e.g., Dodd-Frank, EMIR or MIFID2
