Your new team

Transaction Management team within Middle Office business department.

Team provides investment management services such as all aspects of trade confirmation, trade settlement instruction creation activities across Asset Managers' portfolios worldwide. Products include Equities, Fixed Income, Cash, Foreign Exchange, Unitized Funds and Securitized Derivatives of the same.
Transaction Management team is key partner of Asset managers, Traders, Brokers and other counter-parties.

Your new role

As Transaction Management Operations Expert you will be

  • Working within the Investment Management Services - Transaction Management (TM) team based in Poland, provide primary support for client onboarding and change related projects, operational team (BAU) support

  • Represent the TM function in both external and internal project discussions and workshops

  • Escalate issues and key decisions to functional line management where required

  • Support the client Project Management Office as TM representative in administrative duties within the functional workstream

  • Support validation of the Future State Operating Model covering in-scope TM functions

  • Work with the TM BAU Operations teams to ensure that they understand the Future State Operating Model and that workflows and procedures are documented

  • Support and execute TM onboarding activities to be operationally ready to support the TM in-scope business activities and completed required tasks such as procedures, system accesses and training

  • Ensure TM ‘Green Light Criteria’ items are met and include TM business teams’ items required readiness for migration. Co-ordinate with Operational Readiness workstream lead to complete this

  • Co-ordinate TM training requirements and ensure completion

  • Support other TM onboarding activities as required

  • Liaise with clients and colleagues both regionally and cross border within the TM project workstream

What we value

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of transaction management experience in a large financial services organization preferred– a detailed understanding of the procedural, technical and product requirements within TM Teams

  • Fluent English – strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Academic background, preferred degree in economics, finance, science or engineering

  • Self-starter, self-motivated, adaptable and show initiative with an ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment

  • Experience of working in a critical deadline driven environment

  • Excellent analytical, research and problem solving skills

  • Client service and solutions driven mind-set

  • Ability to form effective working relationships with multiple parties - Clients, Business Experts, IT and Project Teams

  • Proven Transaction Management knowledge across asset types

  • Industry utility experience preferred – Omgeo CTM, ALERT, GTSS, SWIFT

  • Understanding of change management and Lean best practice theories, with practical experience is desirable

  • PC skills, including MS Office applications Word, Excel, Project and Visio
