Arla IT Solutions is rapidly growing in both activity level and number of employees and we are looking for a strong Director to drive our data and analytics agenda. Reporting to the Senior Vice President for IT / CIO, you will be a part of the global IT leadership team and lead an international team of currently around 50 people (and still growing) and an annual development budget of around 5-10 mEUR and growing.
About the role
This position will lead the Analytics Powerhouse working strategically in line with corporate strategy to ignite innovation end2end in Arla’s functions and zones through IT projects that enables a data led decision culture. Your teams would be responsible for the development of innovative data driven applications across the entire value chain while establishing a hub-and-spoke delivery design allowing all agile release trains to deliver advanced analytic projects on top of the data foundation provided by the Analytics Powerhouse, all using the Agile SAFe framework.
You will partner with:
- The Release Train Management team of Analytics Powerhouse to successfully set the right direction and deliver on analytics roadmaps by leading the vision of how data science and analytics expertise will shape the future innovative way of operating Arla’s processes
- Senior stakeholders and business development teams throughout the Arla value chain to drive a real understanding of data led performance and innovation.
Who are you?
You have several years of experience with leadership of analytical specialists and of complex IT development within data, advanced analytics, and data governance – preferably within the FMCG business. Your experience and career path shaped your judgement skills and the ability to make evidence-based decisions.
You have a deep understanding and experience of transforming organizations into data driven companies and leading analytics teams. You are used to work in an agile setup and have strong leadership capabilities backed by strategic mindset to lead teams through change.
Your excellent stakeholder management experience of influencing, networking, persuading will help you to cooperate with senior stakeholders and delivery teams. Your core strengths are collaboration and facilitation across a diverse group of functions, locations and cultures.
