Customs Classification Specialist
Job Description
In this role, you have the opportunity to
have a visible impact on the society by supporting our healthcare customers on daily basis.
You are responsible for
-
Correct and consistent customs classification of all relevant Philips materials
-
Timely and accurate maintenance of customs classification data in the appropriate databases (mainly SAP GTS);
-
Adequate advising the customs clearing operation on ad hoc customs classification topics;
-
Being the key contact for any Philips stakeholder on customs classifications
-
Identifying and reporting classification issues which can lead to incompliance;
-
Being a backup for the master data support foreign trade.

our Global Competence Center in Łódź, where we centralize our business processes. We bring together supporting roles within HR, Finance, Procurement, Customer Service, Supply Chain and other, enabling you to have a career in an international, cross functional environment. Your future colleagues speak 25+ languages and represent 15+ different nationalities, supporting our operations in 50 countries on a daily basis.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

Bachelor of Engineering degree (or min 2-years' experience on technical position)

Previous experience within customs, trade compliance or similar department will be an advantage

Previous experience in Supply Chain or Transportation will be an advantage

Fluent English
-
Experience in working with MS office applications
-
Accuracy and ability to work as a part of a team
